Searching and Soliciting Businesses
Searching
On "My Account Summary" page, use the left column decide to search for all contractors or consultants alphabetically or by service category. *Note search default is to the county/geographical area you indicated. "Add Counties" on the left column.
Alphabetical Search ("Contractors – Alphabetical" or "Consultants – Alphabetical")
If you know the name of business you have worked with, this is the most efficient way to locate their contact information.
Service Category Search ("Search Contractors" or "Search Consultants")
- Main Category Search: Click on Search button next to the main category to return an alphabetical list of all Contractors or Consultants who have selected your agency or your county(ies) or county sub-area(s) and any or all of the work subcategories in that main category.
- Subcategory Search: Click on main category, select subcategory and search to return an alphabetical list of contractors or consultants who have selected your agency or your county(ies) or county sub-areas and selected that subcategory
Soliciting Business/Potential Bids
Once you have generated a list of contractors or consultants, at the top of the screen their will be an option to “Generate an email list” to all or some of the businesses on that list so that you can notify them of a project and/or request bids, quotes or proposals.
